What is the programme?
Identify the programme, its purpose, scope, learning/capability outcomes and applicable achievement requirements.
Programme Credentials formally recognise what a learner has achieved through a defined Astraal Academy programme — connecting completion, assessment, evidence and the conditions under which recognition was earned.
Astraal Academy programmes can contain learning, practice, assessment, projects and applied experiences. The Programme Credential provides the formal recognition layer that records what programme-level achievement was actually established.
Identify the programme, its purpose, scope, learning/capability outcomes and applicable achievement requirements.
Determine whether the learner met the defined completion, assessment and achievement conditions attached to the programme.
Generate a programme-level recognition record containing the appropriate identity, achievement and verification information.
Establish programme outcomes, structure and credential conditions.
Complete the relevant learning experiences and activities.
Apply learning through practice, projects and demonstrated capability.
Establish achievement against defined assessment conditions.
Confirm the relevant achievement and supporting records.
Create the formal programme credential and its verification record.
Knowledge, concepts, structured activities and learning outcomes form part of the programme journey.
Projects, practice, simulations, portfolios and other demonstrations may establish applied capability.
Where the programme includes relevant opportunity experiences, those experiences can contribute appropriate evidence.
The Programme Credential formally records the achievement established under the programme's defined conditions.
Different Astraal Academy programmes may have different requirements. A Programme Credential therefore needs a structured relationship to the conditions that determine whether recognition is appropriate.
Defined programme participation and completion conditions where these form part of the credential requirements.
Relevant learning outcomes, activities or assessments completed under the programme.
Projects, practical work, simulations, demonstrations or portfolio evidence where required.
Assessment outcomes or decisions that establish achievement against the defined programme criteria.
Relevant assessor, reviewer, Academy process or verification mechanism associated with the achievement.
Issue date, current status and any defined validity, correction, supersession or revocation state.
Programme-level recognition linked to defined learning outcomes, applied work and verified assessment conditions. The credential can point to the supporting evidence and verification record.
A programme credential should not turn every piece of learner work into a credential. Instead, it should identify the achievement being recognised and maintain an appropriate relationship to the evidence that supports it.
The recognition can be traced to the programme and conditions under which it was earned.
The credential claims no more than the defined achievement actually establishes.
Relevant programme and assessment context is available when the credential is interpreted.
The recognition can be communicated outside the Academy without losing its essential meaning.
Credential requirements should be established before achievement is determined and communicated appropriately.
Assessment decisions should follow the defined programme rules and appropriate review processes.
The credential should be issued to the correct learner identity through controlled Academy processes.
Issuance should be performed by authorised Academy roles or systems operating under defined authority.
Supporting learner evidence should be exposed only according to appropriate visibility, permission and privacy controls.
Corrections, supersession or revocation should be recorded and reflected in verification status where applicable.
The Programme Credential is not the end of the learner's professional identity. It can become one verified component of a broader capability and evidence record.
The programme achievement becomes a structured credential record with defined status and provenance.
Relevant assessed work and evidence can remain connected to the recognised achievement.
Selected evidence can contribute to a learner's verified portfolio where appropriate.
